A Hollywood beauty and salon that was owned by Holly Herr has closed after three days of closure due to a lack of customers.
The Los Angeles County Health and Human Services Department said the Los Angeles Beauty Salon opened its doors on Tuesday for the first time since its reopening in October.
“The business has been in the Los Feliz area for more than 20 years and has provided more than 50,000 visitors to the county each year,” the department said in a statement.
“The closure is a very sad day for the residents of L.A. County and the entire Orange County community.”
The closure comes a few weeks after the L.C. Department of Public Health and the city of Huntington Beach shut down a hair salon in Huntington Beach, and another in Long Beach.
L.A.’s department said the salon in the Long Beach area is a part of the Huntington Beach Hair Association.
Herr is the founder of Holly Herrs Salon and Spa in Hollywood, and she has been selling beauty products and services for the past 15 years.
The closure of the Hollywood salon comes on the heels of a similar closure of a beauty salon in Newport Beach, California, which was forced to close in January.
