When the new beauty salon at Genesis Beauty Salon is opened, the owner and co-owner of the business will be a transgender woman, according to a post on the Genesis Beauty salon Facebook page.
Genesis is one of the largest transgender beauty salon businesses in the United States.
The salon will open in the same building where the original Dream Beauty Salon was established.
According to the post, the new salon will offer a diverse range of beauty products and services.
The post also states that the salon will feature an in-house staff of transgender people.
“This is not only an opportunity for us to offer a new face of beauty to our community, but also to introduce our customers to the beauty of diversity and inclusion,” Genesis Beauty owner and founder Ashley Williams told News24.
“I know many transgender people are excited about this opportunity to work with our new staff.”
The new salon’s opening comes after the Supreme Court ruled in February that transgender people must use bathrooms consistent with their gender identity, the Associated Press reported.
The decision was based on a decision from the U.S. Supreme Court that said transgender people can use restrooms consistent with the gender on their birth certificates.
However, the Supreme court did not take a position on whether or not transgender people should use facilities that correspond with their biological sex.
A transgender woman in Texas filed a lawsuit in January claiming that the state’s controversial law allowing businesses to deny service to customers based on their gender violates her civil rights.
