Posted June 01, 2018 09:36:15I was a regular at Teres for several years before I moved to a bigger, more prestigious salon in central Los Angeles, where I worked as a receptionist.
When I finally left Teres to move back to my old city, my new colleagues were shocked.
They were like, “You went to the beauty salon?
The staff was shocked and confused.
They didn’t even know I was leaving.
I told them I just couldn’t handle it anymore.
I didn’t think they’d be that supportive of me.
My story is not unique.
When you’re in a big, prestigious salon like Teres, the staff is usually supportive of you.
But I felt the staff didn’t want to be a part of it.
They don’t have the money or experience to support you, so they’re trying to support the clientele and not the salon.
Teres is a very high-end salon, so we’re really trying to create a better salon experience for everyone, not just for the clients.
We don’t do any of the standard makeup, hair or nail services, so it’s more about having an authentic experience.
The salon staff has really supported me, even though I’ve been a full-time salon employee for several decades.
Teresh is a different experience for me because I’m a different age group, and it’s really hard for the staff.
When the clients come in, they can expect a professional experience, but there’s so much pressure.
I feel so bad for the salon staff because I don’t know how to cope.
If they knew how hard I was going through, I wouldn’t have come.
I was doing a lot of work for them, but I was still going to work there.
I’ve done the same work in other salons before.
I’m trying to make a difference for my community.
We’re trying not to be an embarrassment to our community, but the salon is a way for me to say I’m here, and I feel really good about that.
Teres is definitely different from other salonies, because we’re a small, independent salon.
We have a big space and we have a lot to offer.
We want to support people.
I think it’s a lot better for everyone when people feel comfortable and have the support of the salon rather than just being a customer, like some salons are.
It’s not a big deal for me.
Teresa and I live in the suburbs of L.A., so I don://t have the same salon experience.
But when I do get home from work and have a moment to myself, I just feel good about where I’m at and what I’m doing, which is really important.
Tereas has always been about making people feel special and comfortable, and for me, that’s what I’ve always been really passionate about.
I really want to make Teres a place where everyone feels like they’re part of the family, and everyone feels they’re appreciated.
